Розглядаються особливості організації та діяльності поліції різних країн світу у сфері ювенальної превенції. Досліджено форми та особливості спеціалізації підрозділів поліції щодо розв'язання проблем у сфері ювенальної превенції; наведено приклади та особливості адміністративно-превентивних (примусових) і соціально-профілактичних заходів, які використовуються поліцією у роботі з дітьми. Зроблено узагальнення міжнародної практики діяльності поліції, на підставі чого визначено шляхи вдосконалення діяльності української поліції в цій сфері.

INTERNATIONAL PRACTICE OF POLICE ACTIVITIES IN THE AREA OF JUVENAL PREVENTION

The article examines the specifics of the organization and activities of police in various countries of the world in the area of juvenile prevention.

The forms and features of specialization of police units on solving problems in the sphere of juvenile prevention have been studied; examples and features of the administrative-preventive (compulsory) and socially-preventive measures used by the police in working with children are given. A generalization of the international practice of police activity was conducted, on the basis of which, ways of improving the activity of the Ukrainian police in this sphere have been determined.
