Досліджуються особливості та способи здійснення відомчого (внутрішнього) контролю за діяльністю патрульної поліції (окремих її посадових осіб) щодо забезпечення безпеки дорожнього руху. Виокремлюються дві основні форми контролю: поточний контроль за повнотою та якістю виконання патрульною поліцією покладених на неї законодавством завдань та оскарження дій і рішень, здійснюваних (прийнятих) посадовими особами патрульної поліції. Підкреслюється, що чіткої регламентації організації та порядку проведення контролю несення служби поліцейськими патрульної поліції дотепер не існує, у зв'язку з чим доводиться необхідність розробки й затвердження наказом керівництва Національної поліції відповідних рекомендацій.

SELECTED ISSUES OF IMPROVEMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF DEPARTMENTAL CONTROL

OF THE ACTIVITY OF THE PATROL POLICE ON THE SUPERVISION OF ROAD TRAFFIC

The article is devoted to the establishment of features and methods of departmental (internal) control of the patrol police (its individual officials) to ensure road safety. There are two main forms of control: current control of the completeness and quality of execution by the patrol police of the tasks entrusted to it by the legislation and appealing against actions and decisions carried out (adopted) by the officers of the patrol police. It is emphasized that a clear regulation of the organization and procedure for monitoring the service of police officers of the patrol police still does not exist, and therefore the need for the development and approval of relevant recommendations by the order of the National Police is justified.
